If you’re a content uploader, you may have stakeholders in a project who like to keep tabs on key reviewers or projects. With our new subscriber list functionality, you can assign these stakeholders to courtesy notifications that alert them whenever activities occur for the reviewer or project that they’re interested in. Additionally, you can select from a myriad of activities for the subscriber to be alerted to – such as release and return, new version uploaded, deadline extended, etc.
To create your subscriber list, start with a new project or edit an existing project. When you reach the Project Options dashboard you’ll find the View/Edit link for Subscriber List.
Please note: if this option isn’t available, you will need to contact your account concierge to enable this feature for your account.
Simply add the email addresses that you want to send notifications to, and select to alert the subscriber only upon the release and return of proofs, or to alert for all proof activities. “All” activities include release / return as well as any re-notifications, new version postings, deadline updates, inserted or skipped reviewers, project retrieval, and reviewer forwarding events.
In addition to project level subscribers, you can also add subscribers to your individual contacts, review teams and workflow teams to further automate keeping interested parties informed about project activities.
You can also choose to send a preview link to subscribers. Their email notification will then include a read-only link to access the project, for the purpose of viewing the content and reviews. They will not be able to interact with the content.
If your project team members or their notification requirements change, you can add, remove, or edit subscriber settings at any time from your Project Info page.
Let inMotion keep track of who needs to know what, and ensure your stakeholders receive real time, valuable information regarding their projects!
