inMotionNow is excited to be one of the first developer partners with Adobe XD CC
In a recent press release, Adobe announced the anticipated launch of extensibility for Adobe XD CC. As part of the announcement, Adobe also mentioned several developer partners already building plugins for XD, including inMotionNow:
“‘We are committed to developing a rich ecosystem around Adobe XD to fit the modern designer’s needs,’ said Scott Belsky, chief product officer and executive vice president, Creative Cloud at Adobe. ‘Delivering seamless, engaging user experiences is imperative for brands, companies and all digital products, and Adobe is focused on serving designers with powerful collaboration capabilities.'”
At our core, inMotion has always focused on bridging the gap between marketing and creative teams by recognizing that creatives live and breath inside the Adobe Creative Cloud. As we continue to extend our reach within the Creative Cloud toolset, we are excited to develop a plugin that will also bridge the gap between marketing and UI/UX designers.
The forthcoming inMotion plug-in for Adobe XD will give XD users the ability to connect to their inMotion account to view assigned tasks and proofs, create proofs, upload prototype pages and interactive links for review, and navigate to the proof within inMotion, all from within Adobe XD. The inMotion plugin for Adobe XD will empower designers to easily design and prototype websites, mobile apps, and other digital experiences, as those mediums become more important in the creative landscape. Brittany Pais, inMotion Product Owner commented:
“From landing page design to mobile app development, we’re seeing a trend of more and more creative and marketing teams focusing on the creation of interactive design experiences. With the inMotion plugin for Adobe XD, interactive designers will be able to seamlessly export prototypes for reviewers to easily and quickly get the feedback they need.”
As part of inMotionNow’s ongoing collaboration with Adobe, some of our developers recently joined Adobe for XD Dev Days to learn more about early Adobe XD plugin APIs. Pais commented:
“Our developers traveled to meet with the Adobe Team so that we could take full advantage of their exciting, bleeding-edge technology. We’re excited to be one of Adobe’s initial partners working with the new XD extensibility format and look forward to sharing this valuable integration with our customers.”
